Our SVG vector maps are meticulously crafted to provide you with accurate, scalable, and customizable representations of countries and their sub-divisions. Ideal for various applications, from web design, print materials to data visualizations.
We always have up-to-date maps. We're using OpenStreetMap data to create our maps. OpenStreetMap is a free and open-source map of the world. It's created by a community of mappers who volunteer their time to create and update the map. We want to give back to the community so we provide our maps for free for open-source projects. If you're working on a project that could use SVG maps then reach out.
Current maps are using data from September 19, 2024
Other services contain top level regions at best. Our SVG maps have all sub-divisions including cities, towns, villages, districts, etc. Other similar services provide only limited precision with unclear simplifications. We provide a full resolution map and a simplified version for each of our maps. We do simplifications by using Douglas-Peucker algorithm with 50 meters of interval. Simplification can save up to 90% of file size and still have very detailed maps.
